Stock in Slovakia

Slovakia has for many years been the largest foreign market for Stock Plzeň. To make the most of this opportunity, Stock Plzeň set up its subsidiary Stock Slovakia in 2002, to ensure that product distribution and marketing within the Slovak market was as efficient and effective as possible. Stock Slovakia has now established itself as the leader in the bitters and herbal spirits segment, and as one of the leading drinks companies in the Slovak market.

Stock Slovakia quickly established itself as a leading importer. By 2003, it sold over two million litres of spirits. These sales were led by the Fernet Stock and Fernet Stock Citrus brands which quickly became leading brands in Slovakia. Following on this success, Stock Slovakia soon began introduce other brands from the Stock Plzeň portfolio too, particularly Vodka Amundsen and its flavoured versions, the Magister herbal liqueur and the fruit distillates.

Fernet Stock and Fernet Stock Citrus are the two best-selling drinks brands in the Slovak food and beverage sector today, and Stock Plzeň is the largest spirits importer in the Slovak market. Stock Slovakia sales now exceed three million litres of spirits a year.
