Hammer Head whiskey was made in 1989 in a distillery in the village of Prádlo where the distillery's employees had managed to acquire what was necessary for its production, including a grain mill and copper distillation boilers.
Using only Czech barley and the crisp clean water of the Bohemia region, the whisky was left to age in unique oak casks made of 100% Czech oak wood to produce a single malt whisky unique to the world. But then came the Velvet Revolution and the whiskey was forgotten, left to mature until it was rediscovered by Stock.
An original Czech single malt whiskey from a previous regime, Hammerhead offers a delicate and balanced taste with tones of dried fruit, raisins, citrus and caramel.
